Aikido
Aikido is a security platform built for developers who want simple, reliable protection across their code, cloud, and runtime environments. Rather than offering piecemeal tools, it brings everything (vulnerability scanning, secret detection, cloud posture, IaC checks, container oversight) into one system so teams can spot what matters most and act quickly.

The work started with strategy: clarifying Aikido’s target audience and finding ways to present a complex product in a simpler, more approachable way. I supported them in shaping two new brand branches, Zen and Intel, and defined a clear visual direction built around a classic purple palette. We also dug into analytics to identify key pages with high drop-off rates, prioritising improvements to the contact page to boost conversions.
Aikido’s existing site lacked alignment, which clashed with their promise of simplicity. I created a clean, modular design system that set out clear rules for layouts, colours, and typography. This gave the team a consistent foundation to build on, ensuring that future updates and new branches could be launched without losing cohesion.
With the system in place, I redesigned and built new landing pages, refreshed existing content, and realigned older sections to match the new standards. I also created custom visuals to explain complex features more clearly, helping the site feel approachable and consistent from end to end.
